HLTA – Contextual Safeguarding and Attendance
Salary Grade 7 SCP 15-22
37 Hours per week split across both sites
12 month contract, to be reviewed.

The Directors of the Trust wish to appoint a dynamic, innovative, self-motivated and enthusiastic HLTA in a Contextual Safeguarding and Attendance role to join the teams at Adelade School and Adelaide Heath Academy
Adelaide School in Crewe and Adelaide Heath Academy in Knutsford are special schools for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are looking for a motivated, flexible member of staff to work across both sites delivering interventions to vulnerable pupils at risk of becoming involved in criminal behaviour and those whose level of attendance needs addressing.
This is a varied role working closely with pupils, parents, carers, the safeguarding teams as well as the wider school staff, adhering to both school’s safeguarding procedures and policies to promote the welfare and protection of all pupils and students attending both sites. You will keep meticulous records, track trends and suggest improvements with the aim of continually enhancing both school’s approach to contextual Safeguarding and attendance. You should have good interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team, good communication skills, be flexible and proactive and have a good knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and practice.
