About us All Age Occupational Therapy Team  Leader 37hrs - Working between the hours of 8:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday  Based at The Neville Garratt Centre, Bell Street, Wolverhampton. The role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a  team leader to compliment the Independent Living Service in Wolverhampton,which supports Adults and Children who live in their own homes.  The successful candidate will support a team of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants in the provision of aids and adaptations to the people of Wolverhampton.Key requirements The ethos of the Independent Living Service  is the promotion of independence and enablement, supporting people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.  Therefore in accordance with individuals assessed needs you will be required to support the team in making recommendations for adaptations under the Disabled Facilities Grant guidance. You will be responsible in ensuring outcomes are continuously monitored and reviewed whilst upholding best practice and quality standards. You will line manage a small team of staff, as well as liaising with local housing providers and partners.Skills & experience The successful candidate will require a degree in Occupational Therapy and have experience of The Care Act and team management.  You will have good communication skills, able to lead, motivate and able to respond to the challenges that inevitably come with such a role.Additional information For further information please contact Caroline Bates on 01902 552425.
