Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our team. 

You will be trained and qualified in developing and delivering PE, Sport, Health and Wellbeing, have experience of team building and of developing extra-curricular activities.  You will have whole class teaching experience and will be required to teach PE, sporting activities to pupils across the school from Nursery to Year 6.  You will also be expected to teaching aspects of the PSHE and wider curriculum and support with bespoke and targeted group work to accelerate progress for groups or pupils.

This is a permanent position for an exceptional professional to develop and build sustainable PE, Sport, Health and Wellbeing opportunities for all pupils in school. You will be required to teach whole classes, provide CPD for staff and lead extra-curricular teams.

We are seeking a teacher who:  

  • Is an outstanding teacher who has ability in leading PE and sports across the Academy.
  • Has a clear vision and understanding of the physical needs of all pupils and staff in order to develop a healthy and active school population. 
  • Has the ability to interpret data and can use this to challenge pupils’ learning.
  • Can work with parents to provide the very best support for all children.
  • Is flexible in their approach and can use IT effectively to impact on teaching and learning.
  • Will support the wider aspects of school life e.g. school clubs and events.
  • Has ideas and, very importantly, a good sense of humour!
