The Role

Specialist Teaching Assistant (TA3) - Numeracy
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our effective Learning Support department and support students with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Physical Disabilities.
Reporting to the Curriculum Leader for Mathematics this Specialist TA3 will support the progress of students with a variety of special educational needs. This will include the planning and delivery of Numeracy interventions for small groups of students and providing in class support whilst working alongside a lead teacher.


Key Requirements

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to relate well to both children and adults, be able to work constructively as part of a team and have a goal driven approach to solving problems. Knowledge and experience of work relating to Mathematics is desirable.

Additional Information & How to Apply

Relevant Allowances: 35 hours per week, typically 8.15am – 3.55pm, Monday –Friday term time plus 5 staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum.
Start date - September 2021. Salary at Band H (Points 17-22) is within the range £24,491 to £27,041, starting point depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salary for hours and weeks worked is calculated as £19,981 to £22,062 subject to any continuous service.
