Learning Support Assistant
Part time: 25 hours per week (work times negotiable) term time only
Full time equivalent salary range: £19,698 - £23,080 per annum
Actual salary range for working 25 hours per week term time only: £11,052 - £12,950 per annum
Required as soon as possible to support a range of students who experience barriers to learning or have an identified special educational need. The post holder will work between the hours of 9.00am and 3.00pm. Please do not re-apply if you have previously been unsuccessful.
Main duties:
To assist the SENDCO in the support of children with special educational needs.
To offer in-class support to individuals or groups of children in the classroom under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
To work with identified children individually outside of the classroom as appropriate
To maintain records on student progress and input relevant information into computer records
