We are looking to appoint an Administration Assistant to work alongside our Pastoral Team to ensure the school continues to improve outcomes for all our pupils.
This will be a busy and varied role and the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and a positive and proactive approach. Experience of administration in a school setting and the ability to use a variety of office-based packages and the school’s management information system (SIMS) is essential. The successful applicant would be involved in a range of administrative duties including processing admissions, leavers, attendance data and exclusion processes, to include the statutory Return of School Pupil Census.
We are looking for a proactive person to investigate absences by engaging with parents/carers, monitoring absence figures and raising concerns with the appropriate school leaders.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate person who has:
• school administration experience in a similar role
• SIMS Admissions, Attendance, Exclusions and School Pupil Census experience
• a genuine enthusiasm to improve school attendance
• excellent communication skills
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
Holte School is an oversubscribed, diverse, multi-racial, 11-18 community school. The school co-sponsors Blue Coat Church of England Academy in Walsall and also works in partnership with Lozells Primary School.
The school is on a shared site with both a primary and a special school, with plans to develop our sixth form facilities.
The school's ethos emphasises high quality teaching to achieve excellence and enable its students to maximise their potential.
