Support Assistant Vacancy

Salary Band/Range: Grade 2 (£10153.10 - £10355.93)

Contract Details: Term Time Only (39 weeks) 23 hours and 21 minutes per week.

7:20am – 12:00pm 5 days a week

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: 1^st September 2021

Tudor Grange Primary Academy Perdiswell is a happy and welcoming school where all staff are committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.

We are seeking a highly motivated Support Assistant to join our hard-working and encouraging staff team. The role begins the day in our new Breakfast Club and will then continue through the morning supporting classes, once the school day has started.

We would really like to meet you if you if you are passionate about working with children and have the ability to inspire learning and support development of the whole child. 

You should have a high standard of general education with good numeracy and literacy skills.  You will be able to communicate effectively with children and adults, have a flexible attitude, good sense of humour and be friendly and approachable. Experience of working with children, good time management and the ability to work flexibly using your own initiative are essential.  All applications will be considered and while experience would be an advantage, it is not essential as relevant training will be given to the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
