We are looking for an exceptional marketing professional to join our busy communications team.
As Communications and Marketing Officer you will play a key role in communicating with the public and businesses through the development and delivery of creative and engaging marketing campaigns that promote the council’s services and products.
You will assist with the delivery of our vision and priorities across a diverse range of council services - using marketing to increase awareness, take-up and generate income, including through the sale of tickets.
Applicants need to have a marketing/media qualification or extensive broad marketing experience, which includes everything from digital and social media, to traditional print advertising.
This is a varied role which will suit an adaptable, creative and highly organised individual, proficient at managing multiple projects and working with a range of stakeholders.
A significant proportion of the role will focus on the promotion of Tamworth’s Arts and Heritage through the newly refurbished Tamworth Assembly Rooms and Tamworth Castle. Knowledge of audience development is essential.
If you think you could be right for this demanding but rewarding role in our team then we look forward to hearing from you.
