Systems Project Officer
A permanent full time position has arisen for a System Project Officer within the Directorate IT Team for Adults Social Care, Children’s Services and Health & Wellbeing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the high level support and on-going development of the Social Care system (Liquidlogic) along with providing related support and guidance to council staff.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Grade 9 £32,234.00 to £34,729.00 (Actual Salary)
Location: 3-5 St James Rd, Dudley DY1 1HZ (COVID Working Arrangements: Hybrid worker, primarily working from home).
An excellent opportunity has become available in Digital & ICT Services for a System Project Officer working in the Directorate IT Team supporting the Adults Social Care, Children’s Services and Health & Wellbeing Directorate.
The successful applicant will take ownership and lead, primarily, with the development and support of the new Social Care system (Liquidlogic), concentrating on the Children’s system, but also on other systems within the directorate as and when required. The role offers a high level of autonomy in helping to develop solutions to meet the challenges facing the changing environment of the council and the role of ICT in supporting this.
Experience of working in an IT environment is essential and knowledge of social care processes along with an excellent understanding of project management and requirements gathering methodologies would be advantageous.
