Sir Alexander Fleming Primary School and Nursery is a two-form entry school for children aged 3 -11 years old. We currently have 402 children on roll from Nursery to Year 6. We are a friendly and supportive community school where children are encouraged to become confident, resilient and articulate and to use their abilities to the full. We aim to provide a calm, happy and caring atmosphere and set high standards of respect, courtesy, hard work and achievement for all children and adults.

We are looking for inspiring and talented primary teaching assistants to work closely with the class teachers at Sir Alexander Fleming Primary School. You will be enthusiastic, have great interpersonal skills, enjoy working as part of a team and want the very best for our students. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional looking to start, or continue their career in a rewarding new role.

Confidence in working independently with small groups of students
