Teaching Assistant Team Leader
Salary: Grade 8 SCP 28 to 33
Contract: Permanent : 32.5 hours (based on a 37 hour FTE), 39 weeks (TTO + Inset))
FTE Salary: £27,041 - £31,346

Newfriars College is an Independent Specialist College for young people aged 16-25. Our school is part of The Shaw Education Trust who lead and manage academies in all phases, all sectors and in all communities.
As the manager of the teaching assistants, you will work closely with SLT, managers and teaching teams to support the overall management and direction of the offer for this cohort of all the young people.

Main responsibilities
Under the direction of the SLT, to efficiently and effectively co-ordinate the Teaching Assistant Team to ensure that high quality support is provided within the College and to ensure that the provision meets the needs of groups and individual learners across the College. You will be an outstanding teaching assistant willing to embrace and develop our collective values and ethics.
Leadership and Management
