An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right applicants to join a dynamic and dedicated team of highly motivated staff in our Behaviour Management Services. The position of Behaviour Support Worker involves working with individuals and small groups of identified students to improve behaviour, raise attainment/attendance and support the adherence of good behaviour across the Academy.
The successful candidates will work alongside a very experienced and extremely supportive team whose daily work engages behaviour management in a contextually challenging secondary school.
Applicants require resilience, a passion for supporting young people and their families and an assertive nature. While prior school experience is desirable, it is not a pre-requisite for success within this role.
A programme of training will ensure a successful start for candidates with the requisite skills and personal drive.
The Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
