Care Systems Support Officer
12 Month Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity - 37 hours a week
Grade 5 - £17,169- £19,238 per annum
Staffordshire County Council are embarking on an exciting project to upgrade our IT system which supports staff to deliver social care services to vulnerable people in Staffordshire.
The Care Systems Support Officer prime responsibility is to support the Care Systems Manager to deliver specific activities to ensure that Care Director and other social care systems remain supported and project tasks are delivered.
The post holder will work within one of the teams specialist areas:
- Technical Support – Focus will be on carrying out changes to system configuration, forms development by utilizing technical skills.
- Business Readiness– Focus will be on understanding service areas business processes, service demands and the end user’s job role within either adults or children’s social care. Producing training materials, user manuals and organising training events.
- Help Desk – Focus will be on providing first line support to system users by answering their calls, logging enquiries and providing immediate resolution to day to day support issues.
- Testing – Focus will be on developing test scripts, carrying out testing of changes, fixes or releases and ensuring that accurate records of the outcomes from testing are maintained.
You will need a good working knowledge of MS Excel, experience of data systems and a working knowledge of MS Word.
