Housing Support Officer
The Homelessness Prevention Team provides the statutory safety net for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
The teams work is diverse and challenging. The role is interesting and rewarding and no two days are the same.
You will be working within a small supported accommodation project supporting residents who would otherwise be homeless.
Your work will be intensive and you will work with them to progress an agreed bespoke support plan.
You will work alongside the decision makers within the homelessness prevention team to manage referrals and progress move on.
You will represent the Council and Directorate in a professional manner.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults; therefore the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.
