Job Details

Little Heath Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic SSO to keep Little Heath up and running. Little Heath is a medium sized primary school.

 

The person appointed will be responsible for site security, Health and safety, and all duties associated with the role of an SSO (please see attached job description)

We are looking for a candidate with experience but we are also willing to receive applications from people who have a range of skills to offer, ie, painting, plumbing, carpentry etc.

Training is part of the job and will include training on asbestos, water hygiene, fire safety etc.

As well as lone working the successful applicant will be working as part of the school team. They will also need to work with outside contractors when necessary and will be responsible for reporting all areas of repairs and maintenance required both in the school and the grounds.

The start date for this position is August 2021 subject to a satisfactory DBS

Work Pattern37 hours per week (All year round) Split shifts. Hours to be arranged. 

All year round with holidays to be taken not in term time in agreement with Head teacher.

Permanent subject to a 6 month probationary period
