Warwickshire is reinventing their front door changing from a MASH to an Integrated Front Door which will bring partners and early help together. We are at the beginning of the racetrack, but the finish line is in sight and we really need an experienced manager to come and help us get there.

 

As a team manager in the new front door you will believe passionately in children and families getting the right support at the right time and will go the extra mile to ensure they do.

 

Experienced and calm you will be able lead and guide a team of professionals to make great decisions for vulnerable children in Warwickshire. Restorative in your approach you will be a team player who is able to provide high support and high challenge.

WCC is an authority that engages with innovation. We are a financially secure local authority and want to achieve an outstanding service for children. To this end we have received £21m investment programme over four years to implement new and creative ways of working with children. This funding is from both the Council and Department for Education to strengthen relationship and evidenced based practice. We are introducing the Leeds Family Values model which includes increasing Family Group Conferences, providing more support for Special Guardians and a Caring Dads Programme.

 

We are also implementing Multi-Disciplinary ways of working (which is focussed on embedding adult mental health, substance misuse and domestic abuse services in our teams. We also have a new Children’s Workforce Academy to further support our staff and managers develop. All of our practice is underpinned by restorative and trauma informed practice.
