Business Support Officer
Hours: 37.0 Hours per Week
Solihull Childrens Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Business Support Officer to join our Business Support Team on a Fixed Term Contract until 12th May 2022. As one of a team of Business Support Officers you will contribute to making a difference to the young people and families of Solihull as you support our social work staff by providing an effective and efficient administration service within a busy social work office.
Located in our modern offices at Chelmsley Wood, you will be part of a friendly team to provide a comprehensive administrative service to the Fostering Team, in the role of Panel Administrator, alongside a range of customers and stakeholders. Duties will include organising and minuting large meetings, data collection, maintaining information systems and supporting Social Workers, Support Workers and Managers within the team.
You will have either 4 GCSEs Grade A-C or 4-9 (or equivalent) including Maths and English, or an NVQ level 2 in Business Administration, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent numeracy and literacy skills.
You will also have:
- Significant experience of office administration
-The ability to taking accurate minutes at large complex meetings
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of using a wide range of computer packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (or equivalent)
- Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
