My name is Tina Russell and I am the Director for Childrens Social Care and Safeguarding Services. I'm supported by my Assistant Directors; Maria White, Emma Brittain and Adam Johnston and we are looking to recruit dedicated and creative social workers to fill our remaining Social Worker positions.

A vacancy exists in our Permanency Planning and Support Team. You will be responsible for overseeing care plans of adoption, assisting with the completion of Child Permanence Reports, supporting Special Guardianship carers where Assessment of Needs are requested and to support the Local Authority in the completion of Subject to Access Record requests in line with statutory requirements.
We are looking for people who will keep a relentless focus on positive outcomes for our children and young people. You will be working as part of a small team supported by dedicated administrative support. To enhance your performance and development we have a strong team of permanent dedicated managers and senior managers.
We have been working hard on our service improvement plan and we are pleased to have achieved a “Requires Improvement to be Good” gradings across the service in July 19 with Ofsted reporting,

Our offer to you:
Salary up to £41,728* + £3,000 welcome payment
*Salary includes market forces payment and annual retention payment. Welcome and annual retention payments, and relocation package are subject to eligibility criteria and T&Cs).
