Walton Priory is a school that takes pride in its multitude of STEAM awards, such as our achievement of being the winners of the BP Ultimate STEM Challenge. In our curriculum, we include an afternoon of rotational STEAM activities and Competitive Sports that challenge and develop pupils’ knowledge and skills. The DfE has released funding to schools to support Covid-19 catch-up for those children who have fallen behind during partial school closures. We therefore require a teacher to provide catch up in English and maths using a variety of proven programmes, as well as taking responsibility for a range of classes in non-core subjects, and providing supply cover for staff absence.

The ability to teach competitive sports/STEAM subjects would be an advantage.
