About Us and The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team working with:
18 – 25 year old care leavers including those who wish to return for a service offering assistance where they feel they need additional support.
We want to ensure that the young people we work with have a sense of feeling cared for, cared about and are given the support and advise they need to be able to make positive choices and care for themselves as they mature.
Based in Warwick you will be working alongside and supporting young people to make a successful transition to independent living. This includes working directly with young people to achieve their goals, working closely with other agencies to form support plans for young people and signposting young people to alternative community supports where needed.
The role entails travelling both within Warwickshire and out of county, therefore regular access to a vehicle will be required.
You will have experience of working with young people in care and/or care leavers and up to date knowledge of legislation.
This organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
