Nuneaton and Bedworth Community Enterprises Ltd – NABCEL, have an exciting opportunity to join our small but ambitious team, delivering gas services on behalf of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.
As a Installation Surveyor you will be responsible for carrying out detailed surveys of properties and developing a programme of works for new and replacement boiler installations. The role will manage the programme by ensuring works are undertaken by our contractors in a safe and efficient manner, dealing with any issues or delays in the programme as they arise. As a qualified and gas safe registered engineer, the role will also be required to assist in working to a schedule of works across the Council's properties. Therefore, the ideal candidate will also have experience of servicing and maintenance of heating and gas appliances in a domestic environment. You will also have relevant qualifications to include CCN1, HTR1 and MET1.
In this role, you will deal with residents on a daily basis and therefore you should take pride in your work and have a commitment to high standards of customer service.
Hours of work will be 39 Monday to Friday and a works vehicle will be provided, therefore a full driving licence is essential.
Please note that we reserve the right to close this job early should sufficient suitable applications be received.
For informal enquiries, please contact Frank Hyslop, Gas and Electrical Contracts Manager, on 024 7509 3881.
