POST: Social Worker – Band 6

BASE: Edwin House- Second Avenue, Burton on Trent, DE14 3WF

TEAM: East Staffordshire Community Adult Social Care Team- Planned Care Team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East Staffs Adult Social Care Team for a band 6 Social Worker. This is a permanent post.

We require a skilled, resilient and dynamic individual to join the team. The successful candidate will have to be confident in their professional decision making, accountability and have the ability to approach situations with sensitivity and compassion.

The successful applicant will be working closely with the leadership team and will be supported to develop their skill set in assessment, safeguarding and case management. The successful candidate will be expected to be an experienced practitioner with in-depth knowledge of safeguarding and complex case management.

As a social worker you will be responsible to a Practice Leader, the ability to prioritise your work load is essential.
