We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and results driven individual to join our Business Development Team. You will mainly assist and on occasion lead the design, usage, implementation, exploitation and security of various ICT Systems  that will improve the operational effectiveness of the Revenue & Benefit Service.

Working as part of a team, and with the support of the Business Development Team Leaders, you will be expected to contribute to service change designed to help achieve the Council’s overall strategic priorities and aims.  You must be prepared to work flexibly and swiftly to adapt to changing circumstances in their area of responsibility.

You will have either an IT background or a good current working knowledge of the Northgate system, have a high sense of ownership and are highly adaptable to change.

You will be required to assist Business Development Officers with their duties as well as deputising for the team leader in their absence.

You will have the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and provide a high quality service when under pressure. You will need to have good time management and organisational skills together with experience of providing support to senior management.
