It’s an exciting time to join our family of schools. Our HR (People) function centralised in September 2019 and we are looking for an interim HR (People) Manager to start in October 2021. We’re an energetic, sociable and talented team of 7 who are passionate about what we do and who are determined to make a difference. We’re all in it together, we learn from each other, we’re genuine and we don’t have time for politics!
We are looking for an ambitious and hard-working HR Manager who is as happy supporting with employee relations case work as they are supporting with wellbeing, reward initiatives and our annual staff survey. If you are passionate about playing your part in bringing a People Strategy to life in an organisation that makes a profound difference to pupils’ lives, you could be the HR Manager of our dreams. Our People Strategy is a critical element of our strategic plan and you will play a role in bringing it to life. From September, the team will be operating a hybrid working model, with 3 days on-site and 2 days from home. Your work base will be currently working remotely but will be moving to a hybrid model of remote and on-site working, based at Washwood Heath Academy as lockdown eases.

Somebody who has minimum Level 5 CIPD or is on the journey to achieving this
Somebody who has the ability to drive projects and is good with data and excel
A resilient team player who will work collaboratively even when the going gets tough
A commercial and professional mind-set that thrives on taking accountability
Ability to plan and prioritise workload autonomously
Somebody with excellent time management, project management & organisational skills
A willingness to travel across WHMAT’s 7 sites & to work flexibly to meet needs of key stakeholders
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
