Senior Trading Standards Officer
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Trading Standards Officer to carry out a wide variety of enforcement functions in relation to business compliance, fair trading, product safety, road traffic act enforcement, weights & measures and animal feed in our busy fair trading and business compliance team, along with ample opportunity to be involved in cross team working in age restricted sales, scams advice visits and enforcement operations across the whole trading standards service areas.
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: Grade 10
Location: 3-5 St James Road, Dudley, DY1 1HZ
You will be expected to enforce a wide range of trading standards legislation and deal with complex investigations. You will hold the Diploma in Trading Standards or equivalent and satisfy statutory requirements to act as an Inspector of Weights and Measures, along with relevant experience.
