Required for September 2021/January 2022 a teacher to deliver Music to key stage 3 and develop further to key stage 4. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new formed Performing Arts Department and shape the future of our creative curriculum offer.
A commitment to developing extra-curricular music activities is a key aspect of the role. As noted by Ofsted in 2019 “Pupils have access to a wide range of extra-curricular activities. This helps to prepare them for life in modern Britain”
Paget is a multi-ethnic, 11-18 school with excellent transport links on the edge of the Peak District located within the National Forest. We offer a positive learning ethos and a supportive staff induction programme.
According to Ofsted 2019, “Paget High School is a caring school, where pupils feel safe”. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions in your application form.
