The Role:

Penkridge Middle school seek to appoint a School Administrator, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact, deal with all incoming parental queries and provide support for the leadership team. You will be an integral part of the administrative team. This role is fast paced and multifaceted, so the ideal candidate must be innovative, forward thinking, possess the ability to work well under pressure and a have a keen eye for detail.


  • Represent the school in a professional manner
  • Be the first point of contact for parents and visitors
  • Handle incoming telephone enquires
  • Record attendance data for staff and pupils
  • Experienced using SIMS and ParentPay would be advantageous
  • Be able to relate to parents, teachers, and students
  • It is essential for the successful candidate to be First Aid trained, or be prepared to undergo training.

Experience of working in a school would be advantageous, but it is not essential. The successful candidate must have excellent administrative, organisation and planning skills and be familiar and competent with different Microsoft packages. You will need the ability to work flexible within this very busy and varied role. All administrative staff are required to support the whole school as and when necessary.
