Ridgeway Primary School is looking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants

Post 1: 22.5 hours (school is seeking to increase this) to support a child in Y2 with an EHCP for social, emotional and mental health difficulties and ADHD

The successful candidate will need to have patience, a sense of humour and the ability to work with a young person who can display very challenging behaviour.

The post will be fixed term until July 2022.

Post 2: 15 hours to support a child moving into Reception with communication and interaction difficulties.

The post will be fixed term until December 2021 in the first instance.

Candidates should:

• Hold a minimum NVQ L2 Qualification or equivalent;
• Have some experience of working with children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, ADHD or Communication and interaction difficulties;
