Client Financial Services is a unique team responsible for conducting the financial assessments for recipients of Adult Care Services provided by Birmingham City Council. 

A city-wide team, Client Financial Services also handle the financial monitoring of over 3000+ accounts, administer Birmingham City Council's Direct Payment system for providing care, and also oversees the Appointee and Court Deputy service, which assists vulnerable citizens to manage their finances.  In addition to all of the above, Client Financial Services provide advice and information for citizens and staff alike on all aspects of the financial elements of the care process.

We are looking for individuals to join our team who can hit the ground running, so previous experience in a financial or care background is essential. 

The role of the Client Financial Services Assistant is to provide highly specialised and technical administrative support to the operations of Client Financial Services. 

We value flexibility in our teams, so you may be asked to work within any of our departments depending on the needs of our service. 

All training will be provided.
