The variety and significance of roles is unparalleled, with project delivery seen as a key enabler in the successful implementation of Government policy and of organisational change.

There are opportunities across MHCLG in project delivery where successful candidates will be working on priority projects such as: helping to deliver more homes, ensuring buildings are safe or reforming the country’s planning system. You will be a leader across projects and project teams, setting the strategic direction and empowering and motivating those around you to deliver. You could be responsible for overall project management, coordination and stakeholder engagement and management, as well as timely delivery to plans and mitigation of risk. You will be working collaboratively with teams across MHCLG to drive change, implement and deliver flagship policies on the ground.

DLUHC is a great place to work where you will have the opportunity for a long and fulfilling career. We have opportunities across our many professions that cater to everyone– whether you are new to the Civil Service or an existing Civil Servant looking for a change, and whether you're just starting out, or an experienced professional, we want to hear from you.

The last 12 months have been an extraordinary time for people and communities across the country. DLUHC has played an instrumental role in the Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic: by taking steps to protect thousands of rough sleepers; in shielding the most vulnerable in society; introducing a series of emergency measures to support people, places and sectors; and more. We have also made significant progress in delivering programmes for Government, such as driving forward planning reforms, and pressing ahead with our mission to deliver the homes the country needs.

Now, we’re looking to the future and the work we need to do to continue making a difference to the lives of people across the UK. We need to continue building and developing our workforce so that we can effectively deliver our priorities, which include:
• Supporting communities to respond and recover from COVID-19
• Getting more people onto the housing ladder and building safer, greener and more beautiful homes
• Delivering our mission to level up all parts of the country
• Bringing about the biggest change in building safety for a generation
• Ending rough sleeping

We are for everyone

At DLUHC we value diversity and inclusion and actively encourage and welcome applications from everyone, including those that are underrepresented in our workforce. We promote equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment and a working environment free from discrimination, harassment, bullying and victimisation.

We are for everyone

DLUHC want to bring in and bring on a diverse workforce at all levels.
