Inclusion Support Assistant (named child support)

Temporary

Hours:  Mornings 8.30am – 1.30pm (25 hrs).  Term time only plus 5 days.

Salary: Grade 4 £18,795 - £19,171 pro rata.  Term time only (full time salary showing).

Job Start: As soon as possible from September 2021 pending employment checks.  Length of contract is dictated by external funding for the named child.

We are looking to appoint an Inclusion Support Assistant to help to identify and resolve barriers to learning.  The post will support a student with special educational needs.

The purpose of the post is to be a key member of a team which provides a complementary service to the school in order to address the needs of students to support them in overcoming barriers to learning and to include care for students as and when required.

The post is required to support the inclusive vision and ethos of the school by providing support to groups or individual students as required by the Assistant Headteacher (responsible of Inclusion).
