The Role

Fixed Term Contract until July 2022 (linked to the two children)
Working Pattern: Term time
Working hours: 27.5 hours a week (9-12 & 1-3.30pm)
Salary: Band F SCP 7-10 (depending on experience)

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support two pupils and to help them access and engage with varied learning opportunities. Both children work together in the classroom.

The role will be for five days week and you should have an ability to relate with children enthusiastically, creatively and flexibly. To overcome barriers by relating learning to real life, whist trying to broaden experiences.

Key Requirements


Ideally this person will have had experience of working with children on the SEND register, preferably one to one. An awareness or experience of autism would be advantageous but not essential if the candidate is self-motivated to study specialist knowledge.
