Do you want to make a difference for children and young people in Worcestershire?

The Sufficiency and Place Planning team, in the Education and Early Help Directorate of Worcestershire Children First, are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead on reviews of education provision, as well as school organisational changes and supporting the sufficiency work across all areas of education.

This is a key role in driving forward the Sufficiency Planning for education place priorities in the Worcestershire Children First Business Plan. The team is responsible for the review and delivery of the right education provision in the right places.

You will be required to work closely with colleagues across the education sector and partners, manage school organisation processes to ensure collaborative working to deliver good education provision for all. You will need to be self-reliant, able to work to tight and changing timelines, have a focus on stakeholder engagement with excellent communication skills, have experience of project management methodologies, and able to think innovatively to achieve the best outcomes for children, young people and families of Worcestershire.

What we can offer you:

• Fixed term contract / secondment, 35 hours per week, initially for 18 months
