An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join our central team at The Forward Education Trust. The Trust was established in 2017 and is a rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust serving special schools across the West Midland area.

The successful candidate will support the Finance Officer/Manager, Finance Director and the Executive Leadership Team by providing accurate and timely financial accounting support. They will be professional, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will be able to multitask and deal accurately with the varied workload. They will have strong numeracy, literacy, ICT, communication skills, and good knowledge of accounting and double entry bookkeeping with previous working experience in a finance related role.

The Trust wish to appoint a finance professional willing and able to develop their skills further by working towards a finance-related qualification and therefore shows commitment to their own professional development.
