Full-time or part-time hours will be considered.
25 days’ annual leave, 8 bank holidays and 4 concessionary days over Christmas closure (pro rata if part-time).
Be part of a dynamic team to improve procurement across an Educational Trust. Summit Learning Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our small team of three, to develop procurement strategies and spending policies across the Trust.
Tasks will include category management, formulating invitations to tenders, contract negotiation, monitoring supplier performance, building relationships with budget-holders along with giving staff advice on procurement issues.
You will need to have excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and flexibility, as you will need to work pro-actively across all our local campuses occasionally, but the role will mainly be based at Solihull Sixth Form College.
Procurement experience is essential. Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and experience in the public sector would be a strong advantage.
Hours/days if part-time would be negotiated on appointment.
