We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Professional Development Officer (Mental Health Training Lead)

This is a 37-hour permanent post working within Professional Development. We are a committed and supportive team providing training and development opportunities for Adult Social Care staff. The role is based in Shrewsbury with some home working. 

You will need to be a qualified and practicing Approved Mental Health Professional and to have an excellent understanding of the social perspectives on mental distress.  Ideally you will have experience of supervising, training and mentoring staff either at qualifying or post-qualifying level.
