Resource Futures is recruiting a Coordinator to work with Waste Prevention Volunteers across Worcestershire. This exciting project is being managed by Resources Futures on behalf of Worcestershire County Council, to support its ‘Let’s Waste Less’ programme and the work of its Waste Prevention Project Manager.
The aim of the post is to coordinate a large pool of volunteers promoting waste reduction messages to residents of Worcestershire. The volunteers will be attending events, giving talks, visiting schools, or promoting waste reduction messages via social media. The successful candidate will ideally be based within Worcestershire and will work closely with both the local authority and the Resource Futures Project Manager. This post will involve training and support for existing volunteers, as well as recruitment and training of new volunteers.
We will offer you a generous ethical pension plan (the company will match your contribution up to 7%). We also provide life insurance, an Employee Assistance Programme (including on call GP access), cycle-to-work scheme, one volunteer day each year and subsidised professional membership. Plus, you will have access to our Consultative Group platform for employee voice.
You will be joining a friendly, fun, professional, challenging and supportive place to work, and a place that is focused on making a positive impact.
