Forest School Support (Teaching Assistant – General: Level 1) Grade 2 Actual salary £3,107.76 to £3,169.92 p.a. (Full-Time Equivalent Salary £18,198 - £18,562) Fixed Term Part-Time Contract, Term Time only based on 38.2 weeks per year (term time plus one INSET day) The school seeks to appoint a Teaching Assistant – General – to provide support for our Forest School. Duties will include providing general support to children attending Forest School, helping with setting up and clearing away under the direction of the Forest School Leader, supervising children as required as part of Forest School sessions, preparing and maintaining Forest School general equipment and resources. The successful candidate will support the school’s overall provision for children in school as part of a broad and balanced curriculum. Hours: Part time 7.5 hours (three afternoons, currently Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays) two and half hours per day – 12.45pm to 3.15pm.
