Job Details

It’s an exciting time to join Warwick District Council’s Neighbourhood Services team as we remain committed to developing green spaces and the wider public realm to encourage healthy, sustainable and enjoyable lifestyles for the residents and visitors of our district.

As Project Manager, you will support the coordination of a number of high profile public realm projects that the Council has planned for the future of the district.

You will prepare and produce assessments, project plans, procurement strategies and risk registers for your projects, ensuring that milestones are met and that the designated projects are appropriately managed from inception to completion.

Though the current situation has impacted on project delivery times and priorities, the Council remains committed to delivering these projects. Therefore, you will prove to be flexible and adaptable, with an aptitude for adjusting quickly to the needs of a project.

Significant project management experience at a senior level is essential. Crucially, you will be able to develop project ideas from scratch, dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders throughout the process. Green spaces can lend themselves to opportunities for innovative thinking, based on your experience of what works.

We are an evolving workforce with remote working options available to you.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Ruth Hytch, Programme Manager for Neighbourhood Services, on 01926 456236.

Interview date: Friday 10 September 2021
