Tamworth Borough Council has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to join our busy administration team as a Business Administration Assistant. 

This is a varied role that will see the successful candidate actively involved in a wide range of administrative functions across all Council Services including Housing, Partnerships, Operations & Leisure, and Growth & Regeneration.

You will be required as part of a team to fulfil a range of administration processes and procedures which will include organising appointments/meetings, minute taking, finance tasks and other general administrative activities to support the business aims of the Council and support the Senior Administration Assistant and Business Administration Manager in the delivery of key projects.

The ideal candidate will be computer literate and a confident IT user, a detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.  The ability to deal with a wide range of problems/enquires, at least two years experience in a very busy office environment, and working effectively to deliver outcomes against tight deadlines are also essential for this role.  

We are looking for individual with a ‘can do’ approach who will be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team and who can communicate effectively with members of the Council, the public and colleagues.
