Job Details
We have looking for skilled and enthusiastic mental health practitioners to play a pivotal role in our new Social Interventions Service for people in crisis.
About the organisation

The post holders, as employees of the Council, will work in close collaboration with our NHS partners in Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership Trust, who provide local specialist mental health services.
About the team and the role
To improve responses to people in mental health crisis we are setting up a new pilot service to offer flexible and timely support to those who whose difficulties are primarily or significantly social in nature. The team will enhance the work of existing mental health services and comprises a full-time social worker and 2.5 fte social care practitioner posts. It forms part of a wider multi -disciplinary Crisis Plus Service being developed across the local health and social care sector. Under guidance and supervision you will undertake direct work with individuals who come into regular contact with crisis mental health services and other agencies. Through the provision of a range of strengths-based, community-focused interventions, individuals will be be supported to find lasting solutions to the difficulties which lead to their frequent contact with crisis mental health services.
