Teaching Assistant additional needs single pupil required at Christ Church Primary School, Burton on Trent

Required from September 2021 or as soon as possible to 21st July 2022 (fixed term contract)

Part time 25 hours per week- 5 hours each day

Level 3 Grade 5 point 6 £19,698 (FTE) pro rata term time only

We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and positive Teaching Assistant with a passion for working with specific pupils with special educational needs currently in the EYFS Reception Class. You should have ideally experience of working with children with additional needs, and an understanding of hearing impairment difficulties would be advantageous however training will be provided.

This is a fixed term contract linked to a specific pupil at Christ Church Primary School. The funding we anticipate will be extended beyond the date specified but this is not guaranteed.

The successful candidate will work initially under the direction of the teacher and the Inclusion Leader. We offer our full support and induction programme for all new staff, and a commitment to continued professional development.

This is an exciting position to join our dedicated school staff, having recently been graded Good by OFSTED (February 2019) and we are well on our journey to outstanding.
