IT and Systems Support Officer (HEART)

We are currently recruiting for a IT and Systems Support Officer (HEART) to work Full-time on a 2 year Fixed-term basis.
The successful applicant will provide operational support to users of HEART business applications to ensure that the business benefits of the applications continue throughout their lifetime and are utilised to their full potential liaising with users, system administration and system providers.
The role will also provide support to implement agreed systems, both IT and organisational, and procedures within the teams remit including working with team members.
In addition the successful applicant will provide a support function within the Development Team working to improve systems, procedures and to ensure that the service administrative functions operate effectively to deliver the service partnership and management objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will require;
- Relevant experience in developing software systems, Including development and configuration
- Experience of database administration
- Qualification at Level 3 on the National Qualifications framework in a relevant subject
- Practical knowledge of the Windows Desktop environment
- Analytical approach to problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a thorough and methodical approach to work
