Job Title: Administrative/Finance Assistant
Salary: £19,312 - £19,698 P.A. pro rata
Part-Time: 30 hours
Location: Wildwood
Permanent

The Role

We have recently re-organised our Homecare Service to focus on short term services aimed at maximising people’s independence (Reablement). Additional investment into Pathway 1 (supporting hospital discharge) is being made, and additional Administrative support is now needed.

The Administrative/Finance Assistant posts are integral to the whole service, providing a point of contact for internal and external queries. You will be required to support these queries through a mix of email, telephone, internet and face to face methods.

The day to day tasks can be varied, from dealing with visitors to the service to organizing meetings and arranging recruitment interviews. From reviewing administrative processes to assisting in project work and supporting operational staff and managers. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that finance processes, such as creating purchase orders and processing invoices, are completed according to procedures. As such, a range of skills and knowledge will be required.

We are looking for somebody who can prioritise their workload, whilst providing a friendly, approachable environment for any queries. Experience of providing excellent customer service is essential for this role, as is previous experience in a similar role. You will need to be fully proficient using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
You will need to have good communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to gather and share information effectively and within deadlines.

In return you will be supported in your role by your line manager through one to one meetings and performance reviews, team meetings and will be able to make use of corporate wellbeing tools. You will be encouraged and supported to complete any formal accredited qualifications, and you will have a personal development plan to support you in developing towards any personal career aspirations.
