If you are looking for an exciting opportunity where you can make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people, this is the opportunity for you!
At Lifeline, every day is different but always rewarding.
Working from our Control Centre in Lillington, Leamington Spa, we provide a monitoring and response service to our tenants and residents across Warwickshire, 24/7 and 365 days of the year. Whenever they need us they just press a button and we’re there for them; that’s why we’re called Lifeline.
The main purpose of the role is to provide:
- A monitoring and response service to customers in their own homes who have a Warwick District Council Lifeline
- Housing support to Council tenants living within the sheltered schemes, temporary accommodation and properties where a specific need has been identified
- Additional services such as attending low-level falls to council tenants and private residents who opt for this service
Providing this vital service ensures that our customers can sustain their tenancies and remain independent, living in their own homes.
If you’re applying for the day shift, you must be available to work 8 hour shifts (break included) between the hours of 6am and 12am (the shifts are currently 6am – 2pm, 9am – 5pm and 2pm – 10pm) across a 4 week rolling rota on a flexible basis to fit around the needs of our customers.
If you’re applying for the night shift, you must be available to work 8 hour shifts of 10pm to 6am across a 4 week rolling rota on a flexible basis, again to fit around the needs of our customers.
You’ll be able to manage your time effectively as the rota is generally confirmed 3-4 weeks in advance.
You will work at various locations including our control centre, our sheltered schemes as well as visiting tenants in their homes across Warwickshire; therefore, a full driving license is essential.
You will need to be able to carry out the full range of duties which includes the ability to climb stairs (this is particularly important at the sheltered schemes).
Covid – 19 guidance.
Due to the nature of the role this role is office based in a Covid secure environment and will also require visiting people’s homes. Full PPE and risk assessments are provided.
It is our policy that we do not accept CVs as part of your application, please complete the application below and email to email@example.com
Recruitment agencies are asked not to contact us; we will come to you if your services are required.
Closing date: 8th August 2021
Interviews will be via Microsoft Teams or face to face week commencing 16th August 2021
