Information Assistant - HR and Payroll
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to come and join us as an apprentice within our busy ICT team.
This apprenticeship role offers an exciting opportunity to apply the practical skills learnt through the ongoing studying. Reporting to the Information Manager you will initially assist the Information Officer – HR and Payroll Systems with development and operations of HR and Payroll systems. As your skills in business analysis develop then you may well move onto working with other systems, either internal or external facing as part of the council’s transformation programme. This role is also rated as a level 3 role on the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA).
The successful candidate will have the chance to study a level 4 business analyst qualification.
Lichfield district is a beautiful place to live and work, with its historic city centre which has the impressive Lichfield Cathedral and is the birthplace of Samuel Johnson. We are also lucky to have stunning countryside with lots of places to visit nearby, including the National Memorial Arboretum, Chasewater Country Park, Drayton Manor Theme Park and Fradley Junction.
You would be reporting to our Information Manager and assisting in the development and operations of various systems, to begin with this would be HR and Payroll.
