About Us and the Role
We are currently looking to recruit five Business Support Officers on Fixed Term Contracts for 12 months initially within Adult Social Care and Public Health, Strategic Commissioning and Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
We are happy to consider requests for full time (37 hours a week) and part-time 18.5hrs working arrangements.
Warwickshire County Council has recently created a new service which will change the way it delivers administrative support across the organisation. The Business Support Service will provide efficient and professional administrative activities with a focus on continually improving the way we work. We have multiple vacant roles to recruit to across the service - some are in teams that support services for Adult Social Care, Public Health, Strategic Commissioning and LADO.
Tasks can vary from minuting meetings and taking calls from vulnerable clients and services users, to receiving requests from hospitals to facilitate the safe discharge of patients, processing invoices, sending out letters and loading packages on to our bespoke in-house system and general Admin duties
For all our roles we are looking for flexible, self-motivated individuals with:
- excellent communication skills
- a can-do attitude
- an eye for detail
- the ability to work in a collaborative way
- an eagerness to drive continual improvement
As a Business Support Officer, need to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, be organised and demonstrate effective time-management skills, produce work to a high standard, maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
