Specialist Pre-School Nursery Practitioner

8.96 per hour dependant on experience

Workplace Pension Scheme (NEST)

Annual pay review in March

32 hours per week: - Tuesday to Friday

Term Time only (38.5 weeks per school year)

The suitable candidate must have the following:

• An NVQ level 3 or higher qualification in childcare or equivalent
• Experience of working in Early Years.
• Good understanding of the current Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Experience of delivering a high-quality learning environment through good interaction and planned activities based on observations
• Experience of setting up a wide range of activities for all areas of learning, using observations from these activities to assess children’s progress, and plan further activities to support the learning and developmental needs of individual children
• Good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health and Safety, Food Safety, Confidentiality and Whistle Blowing.
• Experience of completing risk assessments, care plans and reporting accidents/incidents

Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced criminal records disclosure from the Discloser and Barring Services (DBS) the cost of which will be met by the employer. Provide two satisfactory references prior to their employment.
