Apprentice Level 3 Teaching Assistant

30 hours per week, term time only plus Training days.

Fixed Term Contract: 24 months

Required for September 2021

An opportunity has arisen for the school to take on a Level 3 Apprentice Teaching Assistant to work with our KS2 children.

As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant you will need to be prepared to work in a challenging,

but enjoyable, work environment and will be joining a great team.  You will be supporting our children’s needs which can be many and varied.  You will be assisting them to make good progress while they enjoy learning.

Rates of pay:
The current National Minimum Wage for an Apprentice is £4.30 an hour. This rate applies to Apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices will be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over AFTER completing their first year.
The minimum wage rates are £6.56 an hour for 18-20 year olds, £8.36 an hour for 21-24 year olds and £8.91 for anyone aged 25 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that is part of their apprenticeship.
