An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a Senior Administrator to play a key role at our brand-new academy, High Point, opening in September 2021. High Point Academy is part of Forward Education Trust, a rapidly growing Multi Academy Trust established in 2017 serving special schools across the West Midlands area.

The successful candidate will be professional, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will be able to multitask and manage a varied workload prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. They will have strong ICT, literacy and communication skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

• providing administrative support to the school Head Teacher, Senior Leadership Team and Teachers as and when required, as appropriate

• providing receptionist support to the school and being the first point of contact in receiving visitors, staff, and pupils to the school

• providing support to the school’s administrative function

• providing pupil and staff attendance support to the school

• providing HR support to the School and Trust Central Team when required

• providing Finance support to the School and Trust Central Team when required

This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of the school to ensure an efficient and effective administrative service is provided to all stakeholders both internal and external. As the school grows the successful candidate may be required to help build and manage a larger administrative team.

The role is term time only and may initially be based at the Trust Head Office (Birmingham, B33 9UF) if the successful candidate is able to start sooner than September 2021.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
